Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Vous (joinvous.com), including the waitlist and, once your city opens, the dating service. By joining you agree to them.

1. Who can use Vous

You must be at least 18 years old.
You may not use Vous if you are a registered sex offender or have been convicted of a violent or sexual crime.
One account per person. Your information must be true and about you.

2. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist is free. Your place in line is based on when you joined and on friends who join with your invite link (each moves you up 50 spots, up to 3). We open cities when enough people have joined; we don't promise a launch date for any city. Places in line cannot be bought or transferred. Fake signups or self-referrals may be removed.

2a. Early access draws

From time to time we randomly select people on the waitlist for early access (a spot in the first matches drop when their city opens). No purchase or payment is needed, everyone on the waitlist in good standing is eligible, inviting friends does not change your odds, and early access has no cash value. Winners see it on their waitlist status.

3. How you must behave

No harassment, threats, hate, or sexual content involving anyone under 18.
No sharing someone's private information or images without consent.
No scams, requests for money, selling, advertising, or commercial solicitation.
No fake profiles, impersonation, bots, or scraping.

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules, and report illegal activity to law enforcement.

4. Meeting people

Vous helps you meet people; it does not run criminal background checks on members and cannot guarantee anyone's identity or behavior. You are responsible for your own interactions. Please read our Safety Tips before meeting anyone.

5. Paid features

Vous is free to join. If we offer paid plans later, prices, billing and cancellation terms will be shown clearly before you pay, and you can cancel at any time.

6. Your content

You own what you post. You give Vous permission to display it inside the service so it works (for example, showing your profile to your matches). We won't sell your content.

7. No warranties; limits on liability

Vous is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, Vous and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for the conduct of any member on or off the service, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the last 12 months or $50.

8. Ending your account

You can leave at any time by emailing us; we'll delete your waitlist data. We may end accounts that break these terms.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will note the date above; big changes will be emailed. These terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, USA.
