Privacy Policy

Last updated November 2, 2026

Short version: we collect only what we need to run the waitlist and match you, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it any time.

What we collect (waitlist)

First name and email
City (or the city you'd like us to open)
What you're looking for (long-term, casual, or both)
Your invite code and who invited you
The date you joined

We don't collect your exact location, photos, or payment details on the waitlist. When the full app opens, we'll update this policy before asking for anything more (like profile photos).

How we use it

To hold your place in line and count signups per city
To email you about your spot and your city's launch
To match you once your city opens

What we don't collect

We don't store IP addresses, device IDs, precise location or browsing history. There are no ads, analytics or tracking scripts on this site, and fonts are served from our own domain, so your visit isn't shared with Google or ad networks. Our host (Cloudflare) briefly processes basic connection data to deliver the site and block attacks, under its privacy policy; we don't keep it.

Who we share it with

No one, except the services that host the site and send email (currently Cloudflare), and if the law requires it. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don't use advertising trackers on this site.

Keeping it safe

Data is stored with Cloudflare over encrypted connections. No system is perfect; if we ever have a breach that affects you, we'll tell you.

Your choices

Email hello@joinvous.com to see, correct, or delete your data, or to stop emails. We'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights; we honor them for everyone.

Age

Vous is only for people 18 and older. If we learn someone under 18 signed up, we delete their data.
